Puntland
Puntland, officially the Puntland State of Somalia, is a Federal Member State in northeastern Somalia. Centered in the town of Garoowe in the Nugal province, its leaders declared the territory an autonomous state within Somalia in 1998. The British colonized the northern side of Somalia. The name "Puntland" is derived from the Land of Punt mentioned in ancient Egyptian sources,
Puntland speaks the same language as people in Somalia. The only difference is the accent. Same culture, morals, and the same mindset.
Puntland has been trying to become its own country. Doesn't want to be apart of Somalia. Due to the civil war going on and tribal problems. Puntland's independence day is on 1 August.
Somalia
Somalia is bordered by Ethiopia to the west, Djibouti to the Northwest, the Gulf of Aden to the north, the Indian Ocean to the east, and Kenya to the southwest. Somalia has the largest coastline in Africa. The climate is mainly dry and hot. The estimated population will be around 15 million. Most people in the country are Muslims. All of them are Sunni. The official languages of Somalia are Somali and Arabic. In the late 19th century, the Somali was colonized by Italy, Britain, and Ethiopia. Soma;lia's independence day is on 1 july.
Somaliland
Somaliland is a self-declared country. Somaliland was internationally considered to be part of Somalia. Somaliland become indecent on 18 May 1991 after Siad Barre's forces pursued rebel guerrillas in the territory. Somaliland is a dangerous place. Anyone who carries a somalia flag gets beaten to death or shot on the spot. other than that it safe to stay.
